Be The Claw

This game was created in ~4 days for the GameDev.tv 2023 game jam.

Story:

You were just an ordinary guy until you wanted to win a duck so badly that you wished yourself into the machine. Now you are the claw, and your life is in...two dimensions.

Theme - "Life in 2 dimensions":

As the claw, your entire life is only two dimensions, so I thought this was very fitting.

Background:

I have ~2 years of Blender experience, so I'm not new to modeling, but I only recently started learning game development and programming ~2 months ago, and this is my first project. I've taken the "Unreal Engine 5 C++ Developer: Learn C++ & Make Video Games" GameDev.tv course as well as 2 courses from Stephen Ulibarri, "Unreal Engine 5 C++ The Ultimate Game Developer Course" and "Learn C++ for Game Development". 

Assets:

All assets were made by me with the exception of the arcade background noise. The duck was made for a previous Sketchfab weekly challenge, but all other assets were created specifically for this challenge.
